Andrea J Martin,
LPCC-S, CCTP
Counselor
Andrea is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and founder of Soul Survivor. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1991 with a master’s degree in community counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has provided professional counseling and advocacy services to survivors of trauma/personal injury crimes for 30 years. Andrea is a North Dakota Certified Counseling Supervisor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
Andrea’s counseling services include abuse recovery, traumatic grief, persistent depression, anxiety, and relationship and family issues.
Andrea has provided training on trauma response and recovery to a variety of professional and community groups including human service professionals, the ND Bar Association, and medical and criminal justice personnel. She provided training at the ND Law Enforcement Training Academy from 1997-2001 while employed as the Assistant Director of the North Dakota Council on Abused Women’s Services/Coalition Against Sexual Assault in ND. Andrea is also a trained family law mediator.
Andrea is a former board president and member of Prevent Child Abuse ND, a former advisory board member of the Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center, a former domestic violence offender treatment provider at Lutheran Social Services, and former advisory member to the Family Safety Center. Andrea is a current member of PULSE (local domestic and sexual abuse task force) and the ND Attorney General’s Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee and Drug and Violent Crime Policy Board. Andrea is a clinical supervisor for the Heartview Foundation.
Megan Kraft,
LPCC, CCTP
Counselor
Megan is a graduate of Dickinson State University and received her master’s degree in 2014 from Walden University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She uses a holistic approach to help individuals discover and develop the skills necessary to work through various life challenges and achieve their goals.
Megan has advanced training and experience in trauma recovery methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure Therapy. Megan is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
Megan’s areas of expertise include therapy for mood and emotional concerns, issues related to grief and loss, healthy relationships, and conflict resolution. She has experience with individuals navigating the justice system and providing therapy services to those with dual-diagnosis conditions, such as co-occurring mental health and substance abuse diagnoses.
Megan is the leader of our Cognitive Chronic Pain Therapy Program, which focuses on treating the cognitive and emotional components of chronic pain.
Megan is an active member of the North Dakota Mental Health Counselor’s Association.
Kylee Vance,
LPCC, LMAC
Counselor
Kylee is a graduate of The University of North Dakota in 2013 where she earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling. Kylee is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Master Addiction Counselor, and a School Counselor. She utilizes a holistic approach with her clients to empower them to overcome personal obstacles.
Kylee has advanced training and experience in trauma recovery methods which include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA). Along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), she is a trainer for The Mental Health for Juvenile Justice curriculum.
Kylee’s areas of expertise include therapy for issues related to trauma, grief and loss, healthy relationships, self-esteem, and emotional and mood concerns. She has experience with adolescents in the juvenile justice system and providing therapy services to those with dual diagnoses.
Susan LeBlanc
Office Manager
Sue joined Soul Survivor in February 2016 as our Office Manager. Her duties include scheduling, submitting insurance claims, client accounts, and managing the fiscal operations of Soul Survivor. Sue has experience in customer service, bookkeeping, and mortgage banking. She enjoys assisting Soul Survivor clients, welcoming them to our practice, and responding to any questions. Sue and her husband Tim are natives of northwestern Minnesota and have three grown children. In her spare time Sue enjoys growing flowers, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her grandson.
